HIGH THROUGHPUT BREEDING
Breeding for new varieties stands in the core of agriculture. Gene markers are one of the tools to achieve new traits. PCR tools are replaced with genomic typing and a high throughput technology.
IAI offers new gene markers for traits that stand at the front of research, such as taste and odor. We also cope with the side effects of high throughput breeding, such as a shallow and low uptake root system.
To achieve better crop protected varieties, both environmental and biological, we use technologies such as NGS, CRISPR, RFLD, and SNP.
Breeding and development of new varieties depend on a smart combination of BioInformatics and technologies, and protocols of plant growth.
